With exception of the highway noise, the campground was very nice. We liked the privacy but also enjoyed fellow campers acknowledging our presence with a wave, hello, or conversation. Enjoyed the blue wood asters and sunchokes. Would definitely stay again. Crosby is a great little city with small businesses to shop in and one had a great ice cream shop.

Thank you for the thoughtful review John! We're glad you enjoyed your stay at the campground and Crosby area! We'd love to host you again the next time you're in the area. ~Dan and Angela

Great spaces

Large sites with trees on either side to provide privacy between campsites. This was especially helpful when traveling with our dogs. Each site has full hookups which is wonderful. Close to Crosby, Brainerd lakes area and other great places to visit. Sites seem new so there is a lot of sand. My one suggestion would be a sign to indicate the location of the campground. GPS, maps etc. let you know the turn, but it is really easy to miss.
We would for sure consider this campground the next time we visit the area

Gail - thank you so much for your kind review! We will absolutely be putting a sign up along the main highway to indicate the location of the campground - we had been waiting for MNDot to complete some maintenance along the highway before putting it out. Appreciate the suggestion! We'd love to host you again in the future! ~ Dan and Angela

Perfect in every way!

We’ve been on the road since May and this place is a gem! Came to Cuyuna to ride and relax. Big, private sites with full hookups, new picnic table and fire pit with cooking grate. Most sites are staggered which increases privacy even if full. Our site was level. We were there during the week so it was quiet…and lovely. Check in was seamless. I accidentally double paid and immediately got an email and refund without having to contact the owners. These guys are great! Firewood is available on site, pay by cash or Venmo. Super convenient! Very reasonably priced campground for all the amenities. It’s about a 10 min drive to the trailheads. Well worth it if you don’t want to be in the City Park. The town of Cuyuna is adorable, so enjoy! Also recommend checking out the Mining Memorial Park. When back this way, will definitely stay again!

Kay - thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review! We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay at our campground and got to explore the surrounding area. We would love to host you again in the future when you're back in the area. Safe travels! ~ Dan and Angela

Great Spaces

I was visiting my brother an hour and a half north and decided to meet up with family at Breezy Point on the way home. This was an emergency; all hands on deck to find a campsite with no notice. Needless to say, after staying the night we needed to visit family, we liked it so much we booked another night to relax with my wife and our dogs! This was a Tuesday and Wednesday night so we had the entire campground to ourselves!! Very large sites, full hookups and plenty to do close by. Wasn't what we expected with a campground but didn't disappoint! We'll stay here again if we're in the area.
